To send money, simply follow the on-screen instructions:
Log in to online or in-app banking and select the account.
Choose or add the recipient’s email or mobile phone number.
Enter the amount and a security question.
That’s it. Just make sure you communicate the security answer to the recipient in a secure manner. Better yet, have the recipient sign up for Interac e-Transfer Autodeposit for added convenience and security.
Important: Make sure your security answer isn’t obvious and don’t include it in the Interac e-Transfer notification message.
